Cardiologist Position

UNC Health Southeastern seeks a Cardiologist to join our dynamic community-based practice of General, Interventional & EP Cardiologists, Vascular and Thoracic Surgeons, and APPs, in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Highlights: Highly competitive compensation and benefits package including signing bonus and relocation.

Clinic Hours: M Thur 8am 5pm, Fri 8am 1pm. Hospital Consults: M-F 8a-5pm, one week and weekend/month. 1:4 Call, 5pm-8am, including one weekend/month. Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship began in 2025. Tests & Diagnosis: Cardiac Imaging, Echocardiogram, Cardiac Catheterization, Cath Lab, Radial Access, PET Scan, Stress Tests (exercise, dobutamine, nuclear and stress echo), EKG, Dedicated EP Lab, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, ABI, Doppler Ultrasound. Heart Treatments: Cardioversion, Pacemaker and ICD Clinic, Angioplasty, Atherectomy, Heart Failure Clinic, Valvuloplasty, Valve Repair and Replacement, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. Vascular Treatments: Bypass surgery for PAD, Endovascular therapy for PAD, Carotid Endarterectomy, EVAR, Vein Clinic. CVICU and dedicated Cardiology Progressive Care Unit.

Requirements: Unrestricted Licensed DO/MD in NC or eligible. BC/BE in Cardiology. Good communication skills. Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern.
