Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional perioperative patient care. The RN will support surgical teams through comprehensive assessments, specialized clinical skills, and patient education to ensure safe and effective surgical experiences.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform thorough assessments of patients growth, development, and condition prior to surgery.
  
  
• 
  Execute competent clinical skills, supporting surgical procedures and emergency equipment use.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care, progress, and education.
  
  
• 
  Uphold professional standards by adhering to policies, procedures, and identifying growth opportunities.
  
  
• 
  Engage with patients and families courteously, promoting a patient-centered environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  
  
• 
  Follow safety protocols including the Universal Protocol, patient identification, and proper transfer techniques.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid RN license and a minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in assessment, documentation, and perioperative care.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of surgical procedures, patient conditions, and equipment.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification is required; CNOR certification preferred.
  
  
• 
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program, either Associates or Bachelors Degree.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
