As a Locum CRNA s, you will play a key role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services across a variety of surgical and procedural cases. You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and manage emergence from anesthesia.
• Document all anesthesia-related information accurately and promptly.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth procedural workflows.
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
• Ensure all anesthesia equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Adhere to institutional policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program (Master's or Doctoral degree).
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the state of Florida.
• National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification.
• Associate-level experience, with strong foundational skills in anesthesiology.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Proficiency in administering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and anesthesia documentation systems.
• Excellent patient assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse teams.
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules, on-call rotations, and surgical case mix.
