Lead HVAC Service Technician

Location: Fenton, MO
Compensation: $40-$43/hour, depending on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Take the Lead in the Field

Are you an experienced HVAC technician who enjoys solving difficult problems and helping other technicians succeed? We are looking for a Lead HVAC Service Technician to provide hands-on technical leadership across residential homes, apartment communities, manufactured housing, and light commercial properties.
You will handle complex service calls, support technicians in the field, maintain high standards of workmanship, and make sure every job is completed safely and correctly.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair complex heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
• Lead HVAC service, installation, replacement, and repair projects
• Support and mentor HVAC technicians and installers
• Complete apartment HVAC maintenance, unit turns, service calls, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
• Review job scopes, pre-measure projects, and identify equipment and material needs
• Verify completed work for safety, quality, efficiency, and proper system operation
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management
• Complete service documentation and maintain company tools, vehicles, and truck stock
• Participate in overtime and on-call rotations as needed

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of HVAC service experience
• At least 2 years of HVAC installation experience
• Lead or senior technician experience preferred
• EPA 608 Certification required
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting skills
• Experience with residential, apartment, manufactured housing, or light commercial HVAC systems preferred
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues independently
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship

What We Offer

• $40-$43/hour, depending on experience
• $3,000 sign-on bonus
• $1,000 after 90 days
• $1,000 after 180 days
• $1,000 after one year
