Construction Surveyor / Field Engineer

Job description S&R Enterprises is a structural steel and precast erection company that is heavily involved in the aerospace and commercial industry, we are seeking a qualified candidate to assist in Construction Surveyor/Field Engineer on the east coast. Responsibilities Knowledge of Construction Surveying with Total Station. Assisting with layout, as-builts, and quality assurance of steel construction. Assisting with Project Management of documents and RFI tracking. Proper care and calibration of survey equipment. Skills Required Proficient with a Total Station and Data Collector. Proficient with Auto Level, can run and close a level loop. Basic survey knowledge and strong math and spatial skills. Familiarity with construction drawings. Familiarity with CAD and 3D modeling. Experience using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Organized. And most importantly the ability to learn and take responsibility. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Associates or Bachelors in Surveying or Engineering degree Demonstrated strong propensity for hands‑on work and attention to detail. Ability to multi‑task, to manage shifting priorities and to follow through on projects with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a construction/industrial environment. Ability to work in a high‑concentration, fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Willing to work overtime when necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr S&R Enterprises
