Senior Infrastructure Engineer: Kubernetes & AI Infra

About the Role We're hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale the core systems behind a rapidly growing AI automation platform. The company recently raised $70M , is only 31 people , and is entering a phase where infrastructure reliability, scalability, and deployment velocity are existential priorities. You'll join a small, high‑output engineering team (9 engineers today) and take ownership of infrastructure across on‑prem deployments, cloud environments, Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD, observability, and scaling services used by enterprise customers. This is a role for someone who wants deep ownership, fast iteration, and the chance to shape infra at a company growing faster than its systems can keep up. What You'll Do Own infrastructure end‑to‑end across cloud and on‑prem environments Scale services to support rapidly increasing enterprise usage Manage and improve Kubernetes deployments (must‑have) Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, and internal tooling Work closely with full‑stack teams to ensure smooth deployments Support multi‑cloud expansion (AWS, GCP, Azure — experience here is a plus) Participate in a one‑day work trial to collaborate on real code and infra tasks What We're Looking For Must‑Haves Strong experience with Kubernetes in production Experience scaling infrastructure at a fast‑growing startup or large‑scale tech company Ability to write production‑quality code (Python or TypeScript preferred) Experience with cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure) Comfortable owning infra independently in a small team Willing to work on‑site 5 days/week in SF or Vancouver Nice‑to‑Haves Multi‑cloud experience Experience with hybrid or on‑prem deployments Background in developer tooling, automation, or AI/LLM‑powered systems Prior experience at high‑scale companies (Stripe, Uber, Dropbox, Cloudflare, Datadog, etc.) Work Environment 5 days/week in‑office — no exceptions Offices in San Francisco and Vancouver Fast‑moving, high‑ownership engineering culture Expectation of rapid iteration and hands‑on execution Interview process pauses May 17–22 due to company offsite Why This Role Is Special Join at 31 employees with $70M raised — massive ownership Work directly on the infra powering enterprise AI automation Shape the architecture before the next 10× scale jump Collaborate with a small, elite engineering team Zero bureaucracy, extremely fast shipping environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Emeraldadvantageconcepts
