Senior Smart Contract Engineer (Remote)

We are hiring a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to help design, build, and launch secure blockchain products with strong wallet-connected user experiences.

This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in Solidity, EVM smart contracts, and wallet integration. You will work on smart contract architecture, wallet transaction flows, contract testing, deployment, and Web3 product integrations.

**Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts for blockchain-based applications.
* Build and maintain wallet integration flows, including wallet connection, transaction signing, network switching, and error handling.
* Work with frontend and backend engineers to integrate smart contracts into user-facing applications.
* Review and improve smart contract architecture with a strong focus on security, scalability, and gas efficiency.
* Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for smart contracts and wallet workflows.
* Support contract deployment, verification, monitoring, and upgrade processes across testnet and mainnet environments.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and translate ideas into robust blockchain solutions.
* Stay up to date with Web3 tooling, security practices, wallet standards, and emerging blockchain protocols.

**Requirements**

* Strong professional experience as a Smart Contract Engineer, Blockchain Engineer, or similar role.
* Excellent knowledge of Solidity and smart contract development patterns.
* Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.
* Strong experience with wallet integration using tools such as ethers.js, web3.js, wagmi, viem, or similar libraries.
* Experience integrating wallets such as MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, or other EVM-compatible wallets.
* Good understanding of blockchain concepts including gas optimisation, transaction lifecycle, contract upgrades, token standards, and event indexing.
* Experience with smart contract testing, auditing, and security best practices.
* Ability to work with frontend teams using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

**Nice to Have**

* Experience with DeFi, NFT platforms, staking, tokenomics, DAO tooling, or payment-related Web3 products.
* Experience with Layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, or zkSync.
* Knowledge of account abstraction, smart wallets, multi-signature wallets, or gasless transaction flows.
* Experience working with The Graph, blockchain indexers, or on-chain analytics tools.
* Previous experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects.
