Outpatient Phlebotomist

Job TitlePerforms phlebotomy, specimen receipt, processing, specimen distribution, computer order entry and/or requisition completion, and other pre-analytical tasks as required. Tracks specimens through appropriate computer functions when available, to ensure that all specimens are routed accurately and in a timely manner. Assures complete and accurate patient samples, patient demographics, and diagnosis codes are provided, and submits to the laboratory for testing.Employment Type:Full timeShift:The position requires flexibility to work between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
