Head of Data Governance & Enterprise Context

At Atlassian, we seek an Engineering Leader for the Data Engineering team to own data governance and enterprise context, enabling trusted, AI-ready data across the company. You will manage policy, ownership, stewardship, classification, and quality while shaping the catalog, metadata, and lineage strategy. You will drive data contracts, governance as code, and strive for AI readiness that gates data used by models and agents, collaborating with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Compliance teams.
