About the Opportunity Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a per diem employed position to join our team on the island of O‘ahu. What You’ll Do: Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for obstetric patients, including labor analgesia, cesarean delivery anesthesia, and management of obstetric emergencies Lead and collaborate with CRNAs in a care-team model to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality anesthesia services Manage high-risk obstetric cases and medically complex patients, coordinating care with obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, and neonatal teams Participate in call coverage and provide urgent/emergent obstetric anesthesia services as part of a shared team-based schedule Contribute to departmental quality, safety, and performance-improvement initiatives that advance patient care and operational excellence Practice evidence-based medicine while maintaining flexibility to meet the evolving needs of a busy tertiary care environment What You’ll Enjoy: A balanced schedule that supports work-life harmony Collaborative group practices alongside the rich cultural diversity, exceptional climate, and endless year-round of activities Qualifications: MD or DO degree Board Eligible / Board Certified Why the Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group? About each facility on Oahu Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. Straub Benioff Medical Center Straub Benioff Medical Center is a 159-bed medical center in Honolulu.
