Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 13.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Strong teamwork skills Flexibility Experience with drains Epic experience Strong time management skills Description: Unit profiles help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. The unit has 34 beds with patient ratios of 1:5. The position does not include call requirements. Education modules will be assigned upon hire and must be completed before reporting to the floor. The unit primarily cares for post-operative patients from general surgery and bariatric surgery, as well as overflow medical patients. Ideal candidates will possess good interpersonal skills and be strong patient advocates.
