Front of House Assistant Manager

The Assistant Grocery Manager is an integral member of our team who collaboratively assists in the management of all the day‑to‑day operations of our grocery, ensuring we remain an appealing, high‑quality option for our customers. Responsibilities Directly responsible for leading FOH staff towards providing the most pleasant, happy, and fun experience for our customers Facilitates new hire training of all employees as well as continuous coaching and development of all staff Supports the FOH Manager in tracking and reducing mistakes at the register Assists in developing new and improved systems and processes to streamline department workflow and create efficiencies Is the point person for customers‑assists with questions, carrying groceries or food, suggests products, goes the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful with any customer need Qualifications Age / Availability Must be 21 years of age or older 2+ years’ experience in retail and/or customer service business required Experience managing a budget and staff preferred Essential Skills & Experience Must possess a passion for local food and an interest in telling the story behind it. Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times. Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service. Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of a team, and able to create working relationships. Must be highly motivated, hard working, and possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
