Project Engineer (Utility-Scale Solar, BESS & Substation Projects)

Are you an engineer who wants to work directly on large-scale renewable energy and power infrastructure projects? We are seeking multiple Project Engineers to support utility-scale solar, battery energy storage system (BESS), and substation projects at project sites across the United States.

Position Overview

This is a field-based project engineering role supporting the execution of utility-scale energy infrastructure projects. Candidates must be willing to work on-site at project locations and play a key role in project coordination, engineering support, construction activities, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and construction activities on utility-scale solar, BESS, and substation projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
• Assist with project planning, documentation, procurement coordination, and field support activities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to support successful project delivery from construction through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-college engineering experience on utility-scale solar, substation, and/or BESS projects. Internship and co-op experience do not count toward the experience requirement.
• Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are strongly preferred.
• E.I.T. certification is a plus for professionals with 5+ years of experience.
• P.E. licensure is a plus for professionals with 8+ years of experience.
• E.I.T. and P.E. credentials are welcomed but are not required.

Work Environment

• Project-site-based position.
• Must be comfortable working at project locations rather than in an office-based role with occasional travel.
• Schedule consists of Monday through Saturday, 10-hour workdays.
