Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team on a travel contract basis. Specializing in float nursing, this role involves working across various units including ED, Med/Surg, PCU, IRU, BHU, and ICU, ensuring quality care is delivered consistently. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Float

• Obtain and record initial assessment, establishing priorities based on patient age and needs
• Re-assess patients to identify progress and trends necessitating intervention
• Develop and implement individualized care plans within Nursing Standards of Care guidelines
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions and modify care plans based on evaluations
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Implement and document interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures accurately
• Use effective communication strategies and delegate work assignments properly
• Participate in orientation for new staff and contribute to a positive work environment
• Maintain patient/customer satisfaction and confidentiality
• Assist with special projects and adhere to all safety policies

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Float

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• TNCC, CPI/De-Escalation, NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications required
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
• Clear, concise communication skills
