If you thrive on hands-on problem solving and want to work with high-tech automation, this role is for you. As an Automated Material Handling Technician, you’ll keep Symbotic’s robotic storage and retrieval systems running at peak efficiency.

What You’ll Tackle
Operate and supervise automated robotic storage/retrieval equipment to maximize throughput.
Run pre-production checks and system inspections to catch issues early.
Diagnose stoppages via HMI interfaces and perform safe recoveries.
Carry out robot maintenance: wheel swaps, sensor cleaning, and component care.
Complete preventive tasks including cleaning, lubrication, and tolerance verification.
Communicate clearly with maintenance and leadership on system health and priorities.
What We’re Looking For
1+ year working with mechanical or automated equipment; warehouse/manufacturing/machine operation experience welcomed.
Comfort with physical, hands-on tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to troubleshoot independently and collaborate effectively.
Comfort at heights and across temperature variations.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; move items up to 80 lbs.
Stand and walk for 10–12 hours per shift.
Work at heights up to 45 feet using appropriate safety gear.
Tolerate conditions from 32&degree;F to 105&degree;F.
Climb stairs and maneuver within spaces as tight as 24 inches.
