Manager, Platform Manager, PLM

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Platform Manager for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology supporting R&D at DePuy Synthes. This hybrid leadership role owns the PLM platform strategy, vendor relationships, and team development while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements across global product development.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end ownership of PLM platform operations, stability, security, and compliance
• Define and execute PLM strategy and roadmap aligned with R&D and enterprise IT objectives
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into PLM solutions
• Lead platform enhancements, system integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing technology team; manage vendor relationships and budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 6-8 years progressive IT or digital technology experience supporting R&D or product development
• Strong technical expertise managing PLM platforms, system configuration, integrations, and upgrades
• Solid understanding of regulated product development, design controls, and data traceability
• Proven people management and leadership skills with team coaching experience
• Experience managing enterprise technology vendors, budgets, and service-level agreements
• Medical device or life sciences industry experience preferred
