Restaurant Dishwasher

Salary Range $17.05 - $21.32* Job Description Restaurant Dishwasher focuses on keeping overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure guests receive the level of food and beverage service set by Neiman Marcus. Responsibilities Primarily focuses on keeping dish, trash, and floor areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standards. Maintains the dish machine by: Checking for chemicals in the dish machine to ensure they are filled and ready. Understanding how to use the dish machine. Reporting any malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef. Keeping chemical testers on hand. Using all sanitizing materials appropriately. Checks trash periodically and removes it when full. Organizes the dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silverware. Maintains a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware. Exercises caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware). Keeps floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash. Assists with preparation and additional cleaning throughout the kitchen as needed. Maintains a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front‑of‑the‑house staff. Upholds all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, the local Health Department, and 3rd‑party Sanitation auditors. Qualifications Ability to work autonomously. Motivated and results‑driven. "Win together" mentality. Capable of standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by business needs.
