The position involves providing care in both Step-Down ICU and ICU units, with a focus on neurology patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role demands a strong ICU background at a Level 1 Trauma Center and flexibility to float to the Step-Down ICU.

• Required Qualifications: Current Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification, graduate of an accredited nursing program, no minimum years of experience specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center, willingness to float to Step-Down ICU
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Utilizes nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, administers medications and treatments following policies and standards, documents patient care, develops patient care plans, participates in performance improvement activities, supports patient safety and experience through critical thinking and escalation as needed.
