RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby

Job Summary Creates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring high-quality care, safety, and patient satisfaction. Maintains visibility on the unit, collaborates with healthcare team members, and coordinates daily operations. Responsibilities Leads and schedules staff, develops action plans, and monitors clinical outcomes. Builds a high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and performance evaluations. Promotes open communication, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards. Coordinates patient care by conducting rounds, resolving operational issues, and adjusting staffing as needed. Facilitates patient throughput, manages emergency preparedness, and ensures department safety and equipment maintenance. Performs additional duties to support unit and organizational goals. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. BLS certification required; CPR certification preferred. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree, leadership experience, and acute care background.
