QA Tester

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and reliability of software products supporting the Arkansas Judiciary. The court management program will be a cloud-based system. The role will develop and execute functional and non-functional testing, automate API and UI testing, identify and track defects, support CI/CD integration, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
• Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software.
• Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and perform manual testing using Postman.
• Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.
• Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications.
• Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk.
• Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy.
• Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
• 2+ years of experience testing applications native to cloud environments on AWS.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services, including AWS Lambda.
• 4+ years of current experience with .NET unit testing frameworks.
• 4+ years of current experience with end-to-end functional UI automation using modern tools such as Playwright.
• 4+ years of current experience with the React framework.
• 4+ years of experience with unit testing concepts using React Testing Library and Jest or similar tools.
• 4+ years of experience with accessibility testing using tools such as Andi and Axe DevTools or similar tools.
• 4+ years of experience testing C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• 4+ years of experience with API testing, including API automation using .NET and C#.
• 4+ years of experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL.
• 4+ years of experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of .NET unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of end-to-end functional UI automation using modern tools such as Playwright.
• Knowledge of React and unit testing concepts using React Testing Library and Jest or similar tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing using Andi, Axe DevTools, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of testing applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Knowledge of API testing, including API automation using .NET and C#.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application testing on AWS.
• Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices.
• Knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Lambda.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Court Case Management Systems.
