Comfort Keepers of Sioux Falls, SD is seeking responsible and reliable individuals to join our team in the role of In Home Caregiver. Caregivers at our agency do more than provide great care in the home; they actively work to help seniors in our care improve their lives, health, independence and much more.This position is specifically designed to provide for daytime and care for a client in Colton, SD (15-25 hours weekly).

Applicants should have a strong desire to provide services to clients with the goal of helping them live as fully and as independently as possible with a good quality of life. Applicant must be able to work in a home with cats & dog and work around a client who is a smoker.

Job Responsibilities For Caregivers:

Immediate openings for personal caregivers. We also have client hours in the Sioux Falls area. Shifts are available seven days a week. The clients we are hiring for require hands-on personal care assistance with dressing, toileting and transferring. Other tasks may include light housekeeping and meal preparation.

• Bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming
• Dietary monitoring, meal preparation and feeding
• Light housekeeping, linen changing and laundry
• Grocery shopping, meal prep, dietary monitoring
• Errand running
• Companionship and social activities
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments, social engagements etc.

Job Requirements

Caregiver Job Requirements:

-Genuinely concerned about helping people
-Valid Driver's license & vehicle insurance
-Reliable, clean transportation for personal and client-related needs
-Personal cell phone in working order for clocking in/out in shifts and maintaining communication with office staff
-Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform job-related physical requirements
