Patient Access Associate - Emergency Department Schedule: Full-Time- Direct Hire Regular schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (occasional weekend required) Required to work every 3rd weekend Rotating holiday coverage required About The Opportunity Join a nationally recognized healthcare organization as a Patient Registrar supporting the Emergency Department. Responsibilities Register patients accurately and efficiently upon arrival Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect copays and other applicable patient payments Room patients and assist with patient flow throughout the department Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and visitors Enter and maintain accurate patient information within the EMR system Ensure compliance with departmental policies and patient confidentiality standards Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient operations Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of healthcare registration or patient access experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience working with EMR systems Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy with patient information Comfortable handling insurance verification and patient payment collections Why Join? Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
