Land Surveyor

Land Surveyor In the role of Land Surveyor, we’ll count on you to: Assist in field layout and measurement Prepare base maps Perform standard calculations to determine elevation, areas and volumes from field survey notes Use standard tapes and electronic field equipment in a fashion consistent with accepted rules Perform basic calculations from field note data, and read, interpret and use topographic maps and design drawings Demonstrate understanding of basic survey or CAD computer applications This position is subject to a preemployment drug test Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience Experience with AutoCAD An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Primary Location: United States – South Dakota – Sioux Falls Other Locations: United States – North Dakota – Bismarck, United States – North Dakota – Fargo Industry: Highway + Road Schedule: Full-time Employee Status: Regular Business Class: Geomatics and Remote Sensing Job Posting: Jun 22, 2026 At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.
