Fireworks Event Setup Crew - Temporary
Pay: $20.00/hour
Dates and hours:
7/3: 12pm - 5pm
7/5 8am - 5pm
Location:
- Veterans Memorial Field, Graydon Park
We're seeking dependable temporary crew members to assist with the setup and breakdown of fireworks display equipment for several Independence Day events in Connecticut.
This is a hands-on outdoor position supporting the installation of fireworks display infrastructure. Duties include setting up firing boxes, racks, support structures, and other equipment used for professional fireworks displays. No pyrotechnics experience is required, and crew members will not handle fireworks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment
- Set up firing boxes, racks, and display structures
- Move and position materials as directed
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup following the display
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the site supervisor
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions
- Reliable transportation to Fairfield or Stamford
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the day
- Dependable and punctual
