Manages labor progression and assists with deliveries. Responds promptly to obstetric emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment and effective communication. Provides emotional support to patients and families during significant moments in their lives. Ensures safe, efficient, and caring nursing services to achieve high standards of patient care. Responsible for administering medications and performing cervical exams within scope. Interprets fetal monitoring strips and prepares patients for operative deliveries. Provides postpartum education to support the mother and newborn. Plays a critical role in promoting a positive birth experience. Ensures optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn.
