This is a highly visible, corporate accounting role supporting a public company environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning SEC filing preparation, supporting technical accounting initiatives, and working cross-functionally with various business units. This role is pivotal in strengthening the technical accounting focus within the team, which currently emphasizes SEC reporting. The team values hands-on, confident communicators who can influence stakeholders and build relationships across functions.
Responsibilities:- Own SEC filing preparation for 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- Support technical accounting initiatives and work through complex accounting issues.
- Collaborate with business units and review disclosures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in acquisition accounting and related reporting cycles.
- Review and prepare disclosures for filings.
- Provide technical accounting support for various business questions.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of financial reports and disclosures.
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- CPA certification
- 7+ years of experience preparing SEC filings such as 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Strong technical accounting background, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (nice to have).
- Ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility corporate environment.

- Compensation: $160k-$180k/year depending on experience
