You will implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage emerging language, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional skills while maintaining consistent routines that help children feel secure and supported. You Will Also Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning activities for toddlers Facilitate sensory exploration, music and movement, stories, art, outdoor play, and other hands‑on experiences Support the development of emerging language, mobility, coordination, independence, and positive social interactions Provide attentive supervision during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, snacks, rest periods, and transitions Assist with diapering, toileting readiness, handwashing, feeding, and other age‑appropriate personal‑care routines Respond promptly and compassionately to each child's physical and emotional needs Maintain consistent classroom routines while remaining responsive to individual developmental needs Create classroom resources and maintain a physical environment that supports safe exploration and learning Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom, including the regular cleaning of toys and learning materials To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
