Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and establish personalized therapy goals aimed at enhancing their functional capabilities.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily tasks.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work synergistically with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver a comprehensive care approach.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers in therapy methods to facilitate continued progress outside of sessions.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical advancements and adapt treatment plans as required to keep patients on track.

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a credentialed institution
• Encouraged participation in continuing education and postgraduate certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in California
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a prerequisite

Skills
