Job Description Job title: Core Assembly Location: Mebane, NC Shift: 2nd 1pm-9pm; Must train on 1st 5am-1pm Pay : $16-$19 Responsible for assembling core components and subassemblies used in manufacturing processes. Ensures parts are accurately built, properly aligned, and meet quality and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Assemble core components and parts according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete production tasks.
- Inspect parts during and after assembly to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
- Load, position, and secure materials or components for assembly processes.
- Perform basic measurements using calipers, gauges, or other tools as required.
- Identify and report defects, assembly issues, or material shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain production flow by meeting daily output and quality targets.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and production staff to support efficiency.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic blueprints preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
