General Manager

Job Summary This position is for a General Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer for employment matters; McDonald’s USA has no control over hiring, discipline, or scheduling. Responsibilities Runs a profitable restaurant and meets critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Sets restaurant goals with leadership and develops plans to achieve them. Leads Department Managers, helping them set goals, monitor progress, and providing coaching to improve their departments. Hires and develops Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future team. Qualifications Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
