About the Role:
Join Heart of Gold Medical Transport as a Non-Emergency Medical Driver, where you'll play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation to patients in need. Be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and medical staff.
- Document daily trip logs and report any issues or incidents promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and patient care.
Requirements:
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in non-emergency medical transportation or a related field preferred but not necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility challenges.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
