Job Summary

This position exists to provide support to the Central Lakes College Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students and faculty.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Post-secondary or industry certificate/diploma/degree or relevant license in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), OR
• Six months teaching/tutoring experience in EMS at the high school level or above, OR
• Two years of work experience in EMS where no degree/certificate/diploma/licensure is required, OR
• An equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge of l ab/shop equipment sufficient to instruct others on proper use and perform maintenance.
• Knowledge of o ral, visual, writing, and mechanical skills sufficient to demonstrate operational techniques.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing to students and instructors in a positive and respectful manner.
• Knowledge of l ab practices, techniques, and safety standards sufficient to operate equipment safely.
• Knowledge of c ollege policies, programs, and curriculum sufficient to develop guidelines and goals with students.
