Project ManagerAssignment Period: 19-Aug-2024 to 31-Dec-2024Job Order Location: Richmond, VirginiaJob Order Status: APPROVED AND RELEASEDJob Order Type: ContractJob Order Number of Positions: 2Position ResponsibilitiesProject Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.Project Execution: Coordinate internal and external resources, manage project teams, and ensure project milestones and deliverables are met according to the project plan.Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project outputs meet required standards and stakeholder expectations.Project Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities, decisions, and changes.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential negative impacts.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the IT sector.Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is required. Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) PM certification is a plus.Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
