Energy Regulatory Senior Associate or Counsel

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Energy Regulatory Senior Associate or Counsel in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising clients on commercial transactions within the electric power industry. Duties Advise clients on power purchase agreements and tolling agreements Handle retail supply agreements and generation interconnection applications Manage large load interconnection and facility extension agreements Conduct due diligence in M&A and financing transactions Engage in administrative litigation before relevant commissions Requirements 5+ years of experience in the electric power industry Experience with commercial transactions and related agreements Familiarity with administrative litigation is a plus Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required Certifications Bar admission in Texas Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in managing complex transactions Benefits Comprehensive health insurance Retirement savings plan Professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
