Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg inpatient night shift position. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population with a focus on safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting during night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license to practice in Missouri.
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience.
• Knowledge of EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to work a 3x12 night shift (19:15 - 6:45).
• Certifications such as BLS and ACLS preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage heavy swing bed patient ratios, sometimes up to 6:1.
