Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a weekend-only night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong CT imaging experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate imaging techniques.
- Perform daily quality control and equipment calibration checks.
- Administer contrast materials and radiopharmaceuticals as ordered.
- Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
- Complete departmental documentation, logs, and reports.
- Maintain imaging records for radiologist interpretation.
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication.
Certifications & Licensure
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
- ARRT Certification
- ARRT (CT) Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
- Experience in acute care or diagnostic imaging settings.
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
- Experience with quality assurance and quality control procedures.
