Dear Coffee NYC is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cashier/Prep team member to join our team. Part time position available at our Chelsea and Upper East Side locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Prepare ingredients and set up stations in accordance with company recipes and standards.
• Bring food to tables and clean tables.
• Provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining areas.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and proactively assisting colleagues when needed.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar cashier or food prep role preferred, but not required.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly.
• Availability to work both weekdays and weekends, including mornings, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Compensation:

• Training Period: $17/hr
• Cashier/Prep: $22/hr
