The ideal candidate has experience with strong Microsoft SQL Server database administration skills.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database scripts to support enterprise applications and reporting requirements.Monitor and tune database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.Develop, manage, and continuously improve index management and statistics optimization.Develop, design, and support Power BI datasets, ensuring efficient integration with SQL queries, views, and underlying data models.Develop and optimize Power BI DAX expressions for advanced reporting and analytics.Experienced with design and implementation of complex data structure types and integrations across multiple organizational unitsExperience with mapping and creating entity relationship diagramsEnsure database performance through proactive query optimization.Minimum RequirementsU.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of certifications and experience).Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or additional experience in lieu of degree).Strong expertise in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.Solid understanding of database architecture, design principles, and normalization.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex T-SQL performance problems.Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal, law enforcement, or scientific organizations.Experience migrating on-premises databases to AWS or other cloud platforms.Experience assessing and documenting client environments, infrastructure, and operational processes.Background in data warehousing, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions.Compensation$115,000 - $125,000 a year Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, technical qualifications, certifications, clearance level, and contract requirements.BenefitsMedical Coverage – Cigna - 4 OptionsTraditional - PPO Open Access Plus Network(2) HDHP - PPO Open Access Plus NetworkHDHP - EPO Open Access Plus NetworkDental Coverage – Cigna - PPO Base & Buy-Up PlansVision Coverage – Principal - VSP Choice NetworkPaid Holidays : Full-time employees receive 11 paid federal holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO) – PTO accrual starts at 15 days per yearTraining Benefit – Annual training allowance available toward any job-related training or education401(k) – Multiple Fund Choices through Fidelity with a company matchFor our full list of benefits, please visit StatementAt Spry, we believe talented and dedicated employees are our most valued assets and the foundation of our success.
