Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity
Join our dynamic team of emergency physicians and advanced practice providers and enjoy the lifestyle of beautiful Northwestern PA. DEMI Healthcare Partners is looking for Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to join the Hospitalist service line at Meadville Medical Center. Meadville Medical Center is a 235-bed independent community hospital located in beautiful northwestern Pennsylvania. It is the sole community provider for a population of 100,000 with a medical staff of over 140 physicians, representing 37 medical and surgical specialties.
Job Description
- Census: ~15 encounters per provider
- Daily Admissions: ~4 per Provider.
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting low and moderate levels of acuity and perform all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. No procedural requirements.
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Shifts: 7a-7p
What We Look For
- Pennsylvania License: RN & APN or Physician Assistant
- DEA License
- Certifications: BLS & Advanced Life Support Certifications; if relevant to practice area (ACLS, ATLS & PALS)
