Seasonal Sales Associate

We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers as a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate. You’ll be a huge part of our success by providing excellent customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love, and maintaining a visually appealing store. What You’ll Do Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, using your product knowledge and customer experience skills. Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas meet visual standards. Work the register, processing sales transactions and driving add‑on sales through BOPIS and curbside pickup. Assist with planogram changes, including store maps, walls, fixtures, and merchandising mix. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and partners. Help prevent theft and ensure proper store security. Support the maintenance of the store by keeping the stock room organized and the store tidy. Work as part of a team to achieve store goals. Complete any other activities assigned by your Store Leader. What You’ll Need Previous experience working in a retail environment, and a passion for music and pop culture. Excellent customer service and selling skills. Minimum age of 16 years. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products with approved equipment, and manage inventory, including packing and unpacking boxes up to 50 pounds. Pay range: $17.70 – $19.50 per hour.
