We are responsible for asset protection across regions, partners, and business units, aligning with gratitude and appreciation. The Asset Protection Specialist plays a critical role in educating and enrolling retail store teams in our global priorities: Well Being, Risk Mitigation, Financial Value, and Social Impact. We are hiring one Asset Protection Specialist for our Soho Broadway location and one Asset Protection Specialist for our NYC 5th Ave location. Core Responsibilities The Asset Protection Specialist works primarily on the retail floor, reporting directly to the Asset Protection Manager or Field Lead and connecting regularly with the Store Manager. In partnership with the store leadership team, they ensure excellence in Asset Protection and promote a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. By maintaining a visible, professional presence, interacting with guests, and educating the team on safety and security practices, they work to prevent loss. They also collaborate with the Assistant Manager(s) and Product Operations Lead to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for Inventory and Operational Excellence. Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor, interacting with guests to ensure a great guest experience. Move dynamically to support the team in resolving AP‑related guest feedback and address concerns or escalations. Understand and communicate lululemon Asset Protection policies and procedures, coaching leadership on effective theft and safety reporting to ensure consistency when the AP Specialist is not present. Input theft, fraud, or safety incidents into case management systems to support investigations Partner with Managers who are responsible for training the team to report theft or fraud incidents consistently, providing education to eliminate bias. Maintain strong relationships with all team members and build relationships with law enforcement officials, neighbouring retailers, property security teams, and in‑region lululemon stores to mitigate risk. Review and interpret business data and metrics related to compliance, operational gaps, and shrink and ensure compliance is continually met for key Asset Protection requirements. Maintain confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information such as investigations (external & internal) and company security protocols. Adhere to People Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, performing tasks in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws. Review SOP compliance and accuracy in Inventory Operations, collaborating with in‑store product and operations leaders to determine actions and provide necessary training. Qualifications Experience in asset protection is not required. Work is performed onsite, at Soho Broadway lululemon or NYC 5th Ave lululemon in New York, NY, 5 days a week, depending on role requirements. Compensation And Benefits Package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from $52,000–$68,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
