Full time Emergency Medicine physician needed with our UTMB system - The EM Physician role will be working in the Emergency Medicine specialty, located in UTMB Health Galveston Campus - EM Galveston, TX. Requirements: Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) Position Profile: 44,000 Annual Visits Level I Trauma Center 30 Patient Rooms 7 Trauma Bays 3 Helipads Comprehensive Stroke Center American Burn Association Verified Burn Center State-of-the-art Decontamination Areas Designated Forensic Nursing Program Flexible scheduling Independent Contractor status Facility Information: As the first academic health center in Texas and among the oldest in the nation, the University of Texas Medical Branch has helped define health care for generations.
