As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials and maintain required access records. Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures, including documenting trailer, package, and delivery information as required. Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
