Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:Adult ICU experience required. Working in a nursery as part of the resuscitation team required. Experience attending high-risk deliveries required. Experience treating pediatric patients in the ER required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:NICU and PICU experience preferred.

Special Requests:Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details:Works in ICU, ER, Nursery Level 1, and Med-Surg floors. Includes treating pediatric patients needing intubation and mechanical ventilation, attending high-risk c-sections, and participating in the resuscitation team. Uses Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, neopuff, and Ram cannula.

Shift&Scheduling:No call.

Floating Requirements:RT floats to all areas of the hospital. RT floats throughout the hospital; patient population spans newborn to adult.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required for submission

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
