Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,260 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Amsterdam, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Triage patients and initiate appropriate emergency interventions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Assist with trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and other critical situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience required; candidates with prior assignment renewals preferred.
