Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience working as an OT in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP process, and educational documentation
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Adaptability and creativity in implementing individualized interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities to determine therapy needs and appropriate strategies
• Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Provide direct therapy services to students and consultative support to teachers
• Track student progress, document services, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based OT
