Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift in Troy

Job Description: Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $27.92 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential per hour. What you'll do: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues. Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed. Support the Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through completion of action cards and rapid response activities. Support physical transformation and continuous improvement (GDP) initiatives throughout the facility. Primary Equipment and Tools: Mobile Equipment Hand & Power Tools Electrical Tools Test Equipment Saws Shears Welding Equipment Presses Drill Presses Brake Press Required Safety and Quality Training: Lockout-Tagout Training Hydraulic Training Electrical Training Power Press Guarding Fall Protection Confined Space Training Troubleshooting PLC Issues Powered Industrial Truck - Maintenance specific Overhead Crane PM Adherence Mechanical Power Press Hot Work Permit First Aid/CPR Blood Borne Pathogens Laser Maintenance SPPC/Storm Water Sprinkler inspection 8 hour Hazardous waste/DOT manifesting and labeling Waste Water System operation Asbestos Qualifications: No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
