Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor required
Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
At least two years of recent experience in the field preferred
Epic experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
Collect and analyze assessment data to determine care issues.
Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans to promote health and ensure safety.
Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and caring environment.

All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
