Job Full Description

Port Washington manufacturing company looking for Quality Technician!

Key duties and responsibilities may include:

Perform inspections of incoming materials, first piece, in-process production, and finished parts & complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports.
Aide in development of quality and inspection plans from design drawings meeting company requirements for ISO 13485.
Program and operate Vision System inspection machines. Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, gauges.
Analyze and interpret blueprints. Determine gauge and fixture requirements.
Identify Corrective and Preventative Actions. Assist in development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote efficient lean operations.
Recognize, report, and correct errors.
Conduct one-on-one training of quality procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent. Quality Certificate or Associates degree in Quality is a plus, but not required.
3+ years related quality experience and prior manufacturing experience/job shop manufacturing environment.
Ability to use inspection tools, read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
Computer skills with experience in MS office. Keyence, Micro Vu, are a plus.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, math skills, communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Specifications:

Pay Range: $23-24/hour
Shift(s): 1st shift
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
