Quality Technician

Port Washington manufacturing company looking for Quality Technician!

Key duties and responsibilities may include:

• Perform inspections of incoming materials, first piece, in-process production, and finished parts & complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports.
• Aide in development of quality and inspection plans from design drawings meeting company requirements for ISO 13485.
• Program and operate Vision System inspection machines. Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, gauges.
• Analyze and interpret blueprints. Determine gauge and fixture requirements.
• Identify Corrective and Preventative Actions. Assist in development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote efficient lean operations.
• Recognize, report, and correct errors.
• Conduct one-on-one training of quality procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent. Quality Certificate or Associates degree in Quality is a plus, but not required.
• 3+ years related quality experience and prior manufacturing experience/job shop manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use inspection tools, read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Computer skills with experience in MS office. Keyence, Micro Vu, are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, math skills, communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Specifications:

• Pay Range: $23-24/hour
• Shift(s): 1st shift
• Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
