Lead Full Stack Developer (React, TypeScript)

Salary: $98,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, plus 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Advanced experience building scalable, high-performance user interfaces with ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including hooks and functional components.
• Backend development experience with Go, Java, Python, or Node.js, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using REST, gRPC, Thrift, or Koa.
• Strong knowledge of system design, distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
• Strong AWS experience, including services such as ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as CircleCI.
• Experience with unit, integration, API, and UI testing, including Jest or Cypress, and with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
• Understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including DNS, authentication, encryption, and secure API design.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Gemini, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot, and with Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Ability to independently deliver complex technical initiatives, analyze and debug challenging problems, and balance engineering quality with business priorities and delivery commitments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills, including experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka, AWS EventBridge, or SQS; workflow orchestration and data processing tools such as Databricks, Airflow, or Temporal; or Elasticsearch and other search and analytics platforms.
• Preferred: Experience with enterprise design systems, shared UI component libraries, large frontend codebases, monorepos, or build systems such as Bazel.
• Preferred: Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Preferred: Exposure to high-scale SaaS, marketplace, PropTech, real estate technology, or customer-facing digital products, and experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack applications spanning frontend, backend, cloud, and data layers.
• Build reusable frontend experiences and robust backend APIs and microservices, integrating services through REST, gRPC, Thrift, and event-driven patterns.
• Design cloud-native solutions on AWS using container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
• Own features from design through deployment, production support, and ongoing improvement.
• Lead technical design discussions, architecture and code reviews, and promote high standards in testing, security, observability, and performance.
• Develop comprehensive unit, integration, API, and Cypress-based UI regression testing strategies, and investigate complex production issues.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and work closely with product managers, architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
• Clearly communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Guide technical initiatives, shape architecture decisions and implementation approaches, and support teams through delivery.
• Clarify requirements, manage dependencies, communicate risks, and align cross-functional delivery with business outcomes.
• Provide design guidance and constructive code review feedback, and help strengthen team capabilities and engineering quality.
• Contribute to distributed Agile teams, taking ownership of sprint commitments, release quality, and production readiness.
